HIGH PERFORMANCE SPORT SPECIFIC / DRYLAND TRAINING
At Complete Core Athletics & Fitness we also provide extensive sport specific training. Dryland
training is a vital component to the development of the competitive
athlete. As many players, coaches and managers will find it is very hard
to fully prepare an athlete with all the necessary development that
they require in a one hour practise session. There are skills and
drills, game concepts, game rules, techniques and off ice/court team
development. Sometimes it is so easy for minor sporting teams that are
not necessarily playing in the competitive stream to leave out a very
important piece of their developmental pie – DRYLAND CONDITIONING.
"Janeene was an absolute pleasure to work with this past spring as she was a big help in the development of our athletes off ice performance. Janeene's enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism is 2nd to none in terms of developing young athletes." Jason Nicholetts

Dryland
conditioning can be done all year long and with athletes of all ages and of all sports.
It is essential in making your athlete quicker, stronger, faster and
more agile. Through the use of plyometric training, strength
training, agility, quick feet, ladder training and core strength
training your athlete will notice a difference in their physical
strength, mental focus and ultimately in their game. We can improve
balance and flexibility which will help reduce injury and increase
performance. Another added bonus to dryland training as a team is this a
time where your athletes have an opportunity to bond and work in pairs
as they go through some of the training process. There is very little
time to set aside during practise time to work on team bonding and
building team trust – dryland training is an excellent resource for
doing so.
"Working
with Janeene and the Complete Core Athletics training program has made
me a more explosive, faster and powerful hockey player. She takes the
right mix of power lifting and speed and agility drills to make you the
most prepared player you can be. With her training and expertise I feel
like I will be a step ahead of the competition, which makes all the
difference in the world."
